Have been taking Lily to obedience classes for quite a while and she has made brilliant progress. Trying some scent work with Neil now to build on skills and to have some fun with her. She loved it and amazingly was so tired afterwards, much more than after a long walk. It would appear that brain work is hard as her picture shows ! Neil is so calm and patient in his approach to all training tasks and picks up on all the different dog behaviours whether working individually or in a mixed ability class. We have the loose leash course and I cannot believe what a difference it has made in only one week. I currently have the flu so we’ve had to put things on hold but I have no doubt we’ve hit the jackpot here with this course. We have purchased online loose leash courses before, but this one just works. No special equipment needed. I actually find it fun. I’m so proud of my doggy and that’s after just one week! My girlie Millie is a rescue dog — very strong, very lively, and goes from zero to DEFCON 1 in 0.1 seconds. She desperately wants to play with every dog she sees. I wanted training to help us be calmer, improve impulse control, arousal levels, loose lead walking, and most importantly, recall.

The training is very straightforward to follow and I can use parts of it on every walk. Our loose lead walking has improved massively with follow-feeding, changing direction, reward marking and knowing which strategies help us most. Recall has become a joy — now when off lead, she comes straight to me even if another dog approaches.

The reward marker “yes” works brilliantly for us. She looks at me instantly and knows good things follow.
I love how clearly everything is set out, and the videos help us see our progress. I genuinely never thought we’d get this far.

I thoroughly recommend this training — it’s effective, fun, and a brilliant bonding experience. Consistency + positive reward = success. We’ve loved every minute.

Neil is a bit of a dog whisperer. My 6-year-old border collie loves all the activities we do — mantrailing, dummy retrieval, and most recently life skills. Neil tailors training to my dog’s specific needs and knows exactly what makes him tick.

He is patient, quick to spot what I’m doing incorrectly, and gives instant feedback. Loose lead walking is becoming a pleasure, recall is improving, and sit-stays are next on my list!

My dog is reactive towards other dogs, especially males. I was worried about group classes, but Neil made it a positive experience. Working alongside other dogs has increased his confidence hugely.

Really enjoyed the tracking course from Crafty Canine. It’s broken down clearly to get the foundations right, with great explanations and helpful video footage.

It even shows when dogs make mistakes — which is incredibly useful for troubleshooting. The foundations also keep my young dog’s brain busy while she matures.
