These classes offer a modern, super fun approach to gundog training.

Open to all dogs, any breed, any size, no previous experience needed.
You will learn retrieving foundations, searching skills, steadiness, obedience and handling skills.
Building a strong working partnership between you and your dog.
All dogs must be able to walk on lead with some level of control, have a reasonable recall and show some interest in retrieving.

They will be retrieving dummies, balls or their favourite toys.
What is gundog training?
Gundog training all about teamwork.
Mixing obedience, retrieving, impulse control, and scent work.
Dogs learn focus, steadiness, and confidence while having fun.
With the training, you’ll build teamwork, skills, and a stronger bond with your dog.

Who It’s For
This course is for any dog who LOVES to play fetch, search & work as a team. Giving many dogs, a breed specific outlet and fulfilment. Not just gundogs!
A fun, challenging hobby that you and your dog can enjoy together, while supercharging life skills along the way.
Repetitive games of fetch and constant ball throwing really isn’t that good for you dog. However with a little refame and the correct training that love can become a super foundation for some amazing formal gundog training.
Where?
Leisure Lakes, Mere Brow, PR4 6JX
Training takes place on a grassy field, so appropriate footwear is recommended.
When?
Most classes will fun Sunday Mornings or weekday evening. (full details with booking link).
Each class is 1 hour, with simple, practical homework to keep progress moving between sessions.

Reactive or Unsure Dogs?
Reactive dogs are welcome, but your dog’s wellbeing always comes first.
Because this is a group setting and the dogs will be off lead (when ready) we don’t want to overwhelm you or your dog and set them up to fail.
If you’re unsure, I offer 1-2-1 training to get you started.
