Wilson’s way.

A fresh look into progressing your dogs mantrailing skills.

Working alongside some of the industries leading minds, I have developed a simple, yet highly effective system to help mantrailing dogs go from strength to strength.

Originally with the aim to help them start in the correct frame of mind, help them get into the ‘flow’ of the trail quicker and with greater confidence.

However, the process soon became transferable to help in many areas of the trail, including over arousal (excitement) when in proximity of the trail layer, difficult surface transitions and a stronger value and understanding of how to work ground scent.

This is Wilson’s Way.

This isn’t your usual mantrailing session, it’s a ‘skill up’ workshop. Borrowing techniques from tracking to fine tune your dog’s existing mantrailing skill set, to help them further excel.

The session will be ran with multiple dogs working at once. However, with advance notice, dogs needing extra space can be catered for.

What do you need?

All your usual mantrailing kit, harness, long line and food pots.

Plenty of treats.

Everything else I will provide!
